Today, a dose of wisdom that concerns the rare art of looking at life from a very broad perspective. For example, in the time dimension, it is a view from the perspective of several generations, which can capture essential principles and regularities. Today we will see a kind of law of sowing and reaping, which shows what the generational life cycle looks like and how one generation affects the living conditions of the next. It is also the principle of cause and effect shown in a fascinating dimension.
Our inspiration will be an interview with the Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Muhammad ibn Rashid Al Maktoum.
Dubai's founder, Muhammad ibn Rashid Al Maktoum, when asked how he saw the future of his country, replied:
"- My grandfather rode a camel, and so does my father, I drive a Mercedes, my son a Land Rover, my grandson will also drive a Land Rover, but my great-grandson will probably ride a camel again.
-Why do you say that? "
- There are several age-old rules that govern everything in life. Specifically, hard times make strong people, strong men make good times, good times make weak times, and weak times make hard times. Many will not understand, but the prosperity in our country produces parasites, not life fighters. It's the same when you give everything for free to your child who sleeps all day. "
And although this Sheikh is known, to put it mildly, for a very controversial attitude towards his children and wives (e.g. one of his wives, Princess Haya, ran away from her husband to London and accused him of repeated abduction and imprisonment of the children) - I think that these words are worth considering deeply.
